We're just using the html title tag for the tooltips at the moment, but I'll see if adding javascript version works better for you.

Re: Tweetree Now Sporting DMs

They're almost certainly just taking longer than I expected - I use Safari on OS X, but I use a bunch of assistive technology including dwell clicking on my mouse so hovering is really hard (when the mouse stops moving, it automatically clicks). Glad to know they're there, anyway!

Re: Tweetree Now Sporting DMs

Thanks for the feedback Ricky. The icons actually have tooltips on them. Perhaps it is just taking a second longer to show up then you were expecting? We've tested them in Firefox, Safari, IE7 and Opera. If they definitely aren't showing up for you, please send me an email at info@tweetree.com with your browser specs and I'll look more deeply into it.

Re: Tweetree Now Sporting DMs

I love the DMs!

It's unclear what some of the icons do though, could you put :hover tooltips on them or something to clear up the confusion? Some of them are obvious ("RT", the reply arrow) but others are quite unclear to me.
