I am impressed by the details that you have on this site. It reveals how nicely you understand this subject. Bookmarked this website page, will come back for more articles.

Re: Tweetree Now Checks for New Tweets

if you wear glif you wear glasses, someone in your family does, or anyone you know has a history of contagious eye diseases, you should be visiting the eye doctor at least twice a year. If you were born prematurely, you may need to have frequent eye checks to make sure you aren't suffering from retinal problems. If you are African-American, it's also smart to check for glaucoma, which can be extremely serious. Visits to the eye doctor can also help you prevent and treat problems such as cataracts
.

The refresh notices were down for a while last night, but they should be back now. Sorry about that!

Re: Tweetree Now Checks for New Tweets

Hi!

I loved that new functionality you introduced. It helped me not have to refresh the page blindly. However, since yesterday evening it has stopped to function. I never get a "new tweets" message any longer, however many new tweets have actually appeared in my timeline. Could you look into that? I use Firefox.

Re: Tweetree Now Checks for New Tweets

I'm running into the same problem. After a certain amount of time on any page, this message will appear, and will often indicate the wrong number of new tweets. It generally indicates more updates have occured than actually have (false positives).

I would also prefer it if this didn't appear in any home page besides the first one, because if I'm browsing through older tweets through the home page, I'm fully aware that I have x many newer tweets, because they're all on the preceeding pages.

Re: Tweetree Now Checks for New Tweets

I love the concept; great addition to a great service. However...I'm getting a lot of 'false positives'. Tweetree says to refresh for X number of new posts, and there aren't any. Not a big deal, I understand new features need tweaking and all that. Thanks again for Tweetree. Much, much better than the twitter homepage.

Re: Tweetree Now Checks for New Tweets

No worries :) In reality we don't mind all that much as we aren't trying to pull people away from Twitter.com, just trying to add value on top of it for people who need or want it. We agree, it is a bit ironic though :p

Re: Tweetree Now Checks for New Tweets

Haha. I knew why it was, I just found it funny regardless.

Not trying to make a knock at you guys -- I freaking love Tweetree. Just found it funny =]

Re: Tweetree Now Checks for New Tweets

That's because it's a third-party wordpress addon that we are using rather than spending the time to develop our own.

I hope you understand if we put our development time into Tweetree rather than the blog :)

Re: Tweetree Now Checks for New Tweets

I find it hilarious that "Be the first to Tweet this post" brings you to tweeting it on Twitter instead of Tweetree.
